10,000 Trees for the Rouge

Looking for a great way to help out while getting some fresh air and exercise? Help plant some trees, shrubs, wildflowers and pollinator gardens! 10,000 Trees welcome members of the community to join us at our 30th anniversary spring planting event, which promises to be more fun than ever before! You will be making a difference for future generations, ensuring that our natural habitats stay strong and that Markham remains lush and unspoiled in the middle of our city. Come join us, RAIN OR SHINE! By signing up, you will join Project 5K's group of volunteers to help plant trees.

Shifts: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (you are welcome to stay for longer!)

Location: Residential area at the south east corner of Stonebridge Drive and Major Mackenzie Rd. E, west of McCowan Rd.
